It is ideally situated very close to the breath taking south Cornish coastline and being centrally located makes an ideal base for guests wishing to visit all areas of Cornwall as day trips...... |

This delightful farmhouse is full of charm and character and is believed to date back to the early 13th century. There are three en-suite bedrooms, two are located on the first floor and one is ground floor level making it suitable for wheelchair users.... The first floor double bedroom with far reaching views across the gardens, valley and farm features an antique pine king size four poster bed and has an en-suite shower room. The bedroom is centrally heated and controlled by yourselves from the room. For those special touches the rooms feature a colour TV, radio alarm, hair dryer, towels, bathrobes and a beverage tray with biscuits. The second first floor room is a twin bedded room with views across the paddock to the valley beyond. The room also has an ensuite shower room and all those special extras. The ground floor suite offers a combination of accommodation to suit people travelling with a helper who would want their own bedroom which is adjacent to the main double room or it is sometimes used as an alternative twin room or a family room. These rooms also have the facilities as outlined for the first floor rooms. Guests may also make use of a combined lounge and dining room where they can relax by the wood burner if its cold, watch television, read or simply just unwind. We are also very happy for guests to make use of the garden, the pefect place to enjoy the warm evening Cornish sunshine or our complimentary cream tea ....no visit to Cornwall is complete without one!
Breakfast is a very important part of your stay at Great Pelean and you are offered a superb start to the day...... You are free to choose what time you'd like to eat up until 9.30am and then you can select as much or as little as you like from the fairly extensive menu.
Great Pelean Farm is situated just a short distance from Par and its long sandy beach or just a couple of miles further along brings you to the popular picturesque fishing town of Fowey well known for its narrow windy streets, gift shops and restaurants. Being in the heart of Cornwall the whole county is easily accessible to our visitors, with the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan very close at hand... The quaint fishing village of Mevagissey is also just a short drive as is the historic port of Charlestown. | ||||||||||
